Original Collection: Historical records about the Bitcoin Wizard 🧙 - a well-known character in the Bitcoin community - are quite mysterious. Some say he depicts Satoshi Nakamoto, the person or group (unknown) who created and introduced Bitcoin in 2009, but disappeared soon after in a puff of smoke.

First sightings of the Bitcoin Wizard are thought to be from Reddit user, mavensbot, who answered a thread in 2013 about what should go on some Reddit adverts for r/Bitcoin. They shared a wizard image titled “Bitcoin Magic Internet Money” and stated, “Hope it is adequate”. Over time, the Bitcoin Wizard has become another infamous part of Bitcoin’s history.

Bitcoin Wizard isn’t just a quick paint-jobby from someone on the internet (well, he is that too), he’s a magical, mystical enigma that you can wear on your feet any day you want to celebrate a part of Bitcoin’s past.
